How many of those Cyberman figures have you had to replace? It seems you dunk them in snow, dirt, who knows what else? Next they'll be emerging from their Tombs via syrup goop and saran wrap
Syrup! There's an idea. I lost my first Cyberman at the beach the other night. My camera batteries needed changing and time I'd done it I forgot I had a figure standing by the surf. He'll be in France by now. The mrs always says there's a little boy named Pierre who fetches up all of my flotsam and jetsam. I lost a Silurian mask when standing in the surf, which was annoying because for the shot I could have stood a few feet back on dry land. My die-cast 2005 police box I've just retired and replaced at it was getting very chipped and tatty, the trip round Ireland last year finishing it off. Every time I get a red drone Dalek I seem to spray it, as do I my Cybusmen for a bit of variation. My newest police box, the Brachaki, has really been through it. It nearly got swept out to sea in the river outlet and fortunately a sand bank and wet feet saved the day. It also fell off a fence and rolled down a hill into a farmers field first time out, although that was more me that got battered having to tackle barbed wire. I have trouble closing the doors because of all the salt and sand left over from that massive beach shoot. It also got covered in cement the other day when I decided to take that 'St John's Boxes' shot while taking a break from building a wall. However, I think it looks better for it - battered blue box. I've also lost a few lights from Daleks along the way, my bronze die-cast you will notice is always shot from one side of the dome.
Good lord! The BBC must love you That's quite the adventure your figures have been through. Syrup? I shouldn't have said. But along with that are other things like jelly which would look more strange, because it comes in 'globs'.
